LASAA HQ
The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency required an HQ Building and also wanted it to be to act as the new image of civic buildings in Lagos State, confirming the progressive attitude government and their commitment to change.
The answer was recognition of the internal requirement for tall structures, carefully married with local context. We sorted a language in which the material of modern and contemporary architecture; concrete, is celebrated with timber and bamboo as climate tamers, our desire was to achieve a new understanding of a design that is rooted in its environment.
The form of the building is rectilinear in whole, however, the abstract inclined planes of the elevations confirms the approachability of desired by the regulating institute; commending the respect of all that need to visit it for business.
