The brief of this project posed us with the refurbishment of an existing office block.
Our design solution was focused on the restoration of the existing building. The focus is to apply new tiles to the building and ensure the painted area are significantly reduced, with the aim of limiting its life time maintenance cost.
A double pent floor is introduced and the façade treatment that acts like a ‘beacon’ or ‘crown’ has been applied. The new floors are curtained walls to take advantage of the reconstruction as well as ensure the building relates to the adjacent CBN building.
On the scale of the architectural questions posed by the project, we seek to create an environment that helps to inspire the Stirling Trust Company team to surpass their international colleagues and competition worldwide, contributing immensely to the Nigerian Logistics industry.
